This "unbearable" event is a unique opportunity to show your bravery as you support local Special Olympics athletes by plunging into the frigid winter waters. Proceeds benefit Special Olympics Missouri. SOMO exists to provide year-round sports and training opportunities for individuals with intellectual disabilities and our athletes need you to get involved. Become a coach, volunteer, recruit a future athlete and learn how you can make a difference!
Plunge doesn't end at the beach this year! Join us at Tan-Tar-A for the best Plunge After Party from 4 - 7 p.m. This year special guest Kricket Alley will be performing along with the best silent/live auction. Appetizers, 2 drink tickets, entertainment by one of the best bands at the Lake and loads of fun will be free for Polar Plungers and $10 for guests. Make plans today so you don't miss out on the fun! The premiere Beatles Tribute Band in the country, the Liverpool Legends, appearing at the Main Street Theater at the Main Street Landing (off of Osage Beach Pkwy in Osage Beach) for two performances. This is always a sell-out show, so get your tickets early.
In their very first year in Branson, 2006, the Liverpool Legends were voted Best New Show and Best Band. In 2007, they once again received the Branson Critic Fan award for Best Band as well as the prestigious Branson Critic Editors Choice for Best Show in Branson. 4th Annual Bridge and Dam Half Marathon, 5K and 10K, to be held on Saturday, March 30, 2019! The race starts on Bagnell Dam and runs over the Community Toll Bridge onto MM and down Las Campanas and back. This is a beautiful, scenic yet challenging course that will attract runners from all parts of the United States. The event promises to be a fun, exciting and anticipated event for the Lake! Lake of the Ozarks Fellowship of Christian Athletes will host the event and all proceeds benefit LOTO FCA. Sponsorship and Race Crew volunteer spots are available.
