This annual running event typically takes place on the beautiful Bagnell Dam. However, due to construction this year, the race has been moved. Per Bridge and Dam, "All races will begin and end in the Iguana parking lot where the finish is located each year. 5k and 10k courses have been changed to run out further, turn around, and return. "Twice a year, Alhonna Resort is host to an “open buddy bass” tournament. The Early Bird Tournament, held the last full weekend in March, offers a great way to start a new fishing season at Lake of the Ozarks and often occurs during the bass’s natural spawning period. Six and seven pound fish are not uncommon in this early spring tournament. The Fall Classic, held the last Saturday and Sunday in October, gives anglers the chance to enjoy brilliant autumn colors and fantastic fall fishing at our great Lake. Both tournaments include a separate Big Bass pot. Payback of tournament fees is always 100%."
