Part of your deep clean this year should be your HVAC system. After all, the air you breathe inside your home is filtered through your HVAC system over and over again. If your ducts are full of dust, dirt, dead bugs, and even mice, then just imagine what you're actually breathing.
It's a good idea to get your HVAC ductwork cleaned professionally at least every 5 years. It's also important to make sure the unit is clear from any debris like dead leaves, snow, fallen branches, etc. We recommend that there should be at least a 3-foot clearance around the entire unit.
